NOW that was never planned or imagined... :) but whose complaining.

what are we doing in Coorg? we are hosting a bachelorrete spa party! So loads of health drinks, spa therapies, and our motivation to absolutely sweep the girls off of thier feet with the first class service...

Geting going-behind the scenes

The marketing team has set about creating adv as also setting up press release. The idea being new to India the business is being covered by some magazines. That would give us good mileage!

We are beginning to get some clients- its chaotic on the inside ...its tough setting up a running enterprise.

The mission of the mobile spa is to help uplift the less privileged women. Train them and provide a chance to change thier lives and thier childrens lives. Its proving difficult to train the women in ettiquettes, service, and methods...and if that difficult you should see how difficult its been to train them in human anatomy so that they understand the reason behind the strokes, massage...Thankfully we have superbly trained senior therapists who are tremendously skilled in imparting the training and teaching the nuances of wellness care!

Ok, so the eureka moment had happened, I knew pretty much how I am going to see this to fruition. the first most difficult question is of course MONIES MONIES...and MONIES...

Burrowing into savings was the easiest but that coughed up a frugal moment, and lead to a long walk down the past years spent at Vayu, H2O, Geoffreys, M & W....marks and spencers, NEXT,...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

But passion has a way of finding its mark- freinds and believers rallied to pool in funds to form a start up capital. Heart felt thanks to all you guys :)

Bangalore MObile Spa was kick started- its first signs of life...feeble but strong enough to turn one into a believer.

Of course the capital collected thus far isnt enough for the long haul but its a start nonetheless and the teams looking for a new pockets to dip into.

Birth of the Bangalore Mobile spa- a behind the scenes

It started on a regular saturday...the bangalore mobile spa was born! Born of sheer need.

It was appointment time for a relaxing treatment at the Spa...relaaaax and rejuvenate. I was so looking forward to it.

The appointment was at 12pm...I needed to leave at 10:30...the maids didnt turn up! I postponed the appointment to the next available slot. So now I needed to go after lunch. ok...

So breezed through lunch, made arrangments for someone to see the kids and off I was. Never mind the horrid traffic, never mind going around incircles looking for parking....delays delays...i finaaly made it to the appointment just in time. Completely frazzled of course.

As i enjoyed the massage drifted through sleep and awake...wondered if the kids would be back in time from play...hoping the baby sitter will be ok with the delay...the massage finished and lo and behold it was time to set back on the road!!

I had been diong it for years...but now - just this fine day it made NO SENSE to be driving to a spa treatment .....SPENDING HOUR AND A HALF FOR AN HOUR OF RELAXATION.. and the drive back through traffic...it was insane.

wouldnt it be nice if i could instead have the therapist go through the travelling pain, the chaotic traffic...the parking...and I just lord it at home spending that one hour and a half at home- vegetating may be. And continue vegetating after the treatment!!

BUT HOW??
